Current Projects

  • 4/4/08 - Things have progressed well since the last update.  The work at 49 Union Street is about 97% finished.  This Saturday Wells Fargo volunteers will be installing a fence between 49 & 51 and gutters will be installed on the shed. The appliances will be installed on April 15. The remainder of the work is mainly touch-up spackling, painting and caulking.  There is clean-up and removal of materials, supplies and equipment.  The kitchen cabinet knobs need to be selected and installed.  Sod will be installed in the rear.  The carpeting will be installed once everything else is complete.  The mural is in progress and is looking to be completed by April 4.
The Construction Committee is holding a Vendors Open House on Saturday, April 5, from 10-3.  There will be literature from each vendor who contributed.  Food will be provided.
The locks will be changed prior to dedication which is scheduled for Sunday April 20th.
The house looks great!  The project has gone well and we have much to be thankful for!
